Biography

Nicholas II was the last reigning Emperor of Russia, whose reign from 1894 to 1917 encompassed the final years of the Romanov dynasty and the Russian Empire. His rule witnessed profound social, political, and military upheaval that fundamentally transformed Russian history.

Following the Russian Revolution, Nicholas II and his family were executed in 1918, marking a tragic end to centuries of imperial rule. His remains were later interred at the Peter and Paul Cathedral in Saint Petersburg, the traditional burial place of Russian emperors, where he rests as a historical figure of immense significance.
