Nicholas M. S. Catlin

Biography

Nicholas M. S. Catlin was born in 1851 and passed away in 1852, living only a brief year in this world. Though his time was short, he was laid to rest in Tioga Cemetery, where he is remembered.

The loss of a child so young reminds us of the fragility of life in the nineteenth century. Nicholas remains a part of the historical record and the community he briefly called home.
