Nicholas Senn

Biography

Nicholas Senn, Swiss-born surgeon and professor, was a pioneer in abdominal surgery and a force for scientific rigor in American medical education at institutions such as Northwestern.

He served with the U.S. Army and the American Medical Association, and Graceland Cemetery is the final resting place of this devoted physician.
