Biography
Nikolai Babanakov was a Soviet military officer who served his country during a critical period in Russian history. Born in 1919, he came of age during the Soviet era and participated in military service during the Second World War and its aftermath.
Babanakov's military career was cut short when he died in 1951 at a relatively young age. He was laid to rest at Peredelkino Cemetery, a burial ground associated with notable Soviet figures.
