Biography

Nikolai Sakof was a Russian aircraft pilot who represented the emerging aviation culture of the early 20th century. As a pilot, he was part of the pioneering generation that developed aviation technology and practice during this transformative period in transportation history.

Following the Russian Revolution, Sakof became part of the Russian émigré community in France, where he lived until his death in 1930. He is remembered as one of the early aviators who contributed to the development of modern aviation.
