Biography

Nikolai Ushin was a Soviet illustrator whose artistic work contributed to the visual culture of the Soviet Union. His illustrations demonstrated technical skill and creative vision during the early Soviet period.

Ushin's artistic career was interrupted by the hardships of World War II. He is commemorated at Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetery, a place of remembrance for those who suffered and perished during the siege of Leningrad.
