Biography

Nikolay Levashov was a dedicated Russian military officer whose service to the Russian armed forces spanned the mid-to-late 19th century. His military career reflected the professional standards and martial traditions of the Russian military establishment during a period of significant geopolitical change.

Levashov's contributions to Russian military service were recognized through his rank and responsibilities within the armed forces. Following his death in 1888, he was laid to rest at the Alexander Nevsky Lavra in Saint Petersburg, a burial site of considerable prestige that honored his military service and social standing.
