Biography

Nikolay Naryshkin (1783–1850) was a military figure of the Russian Empire whose service extended through the early decades of the 19th century. He was part of the aristocratic Naryshkin family, one of Russia's most prominent noble houses.

Naryshkin's final years were spent in the spiritual atmosphere of the Alekseevsky Convent, where he was ultimately laid to rest. His burial there reflects both his military heritage and his deep religious conviction.
