Biography
Nikolay Polikarpov was a priest of the Russian Orthodox Church who served in Oryol. Born in 1867, he devoted his life to religious ministry and pastoral care during the dramatic transformations of late imperial and early Soviet Russia.
As a member of the clergy, Polikarpov faced the challenges and dangers that confronted the Orthodox Church during the Soviet period. He continued his priestly duties until his death in 1938, maintaining his faith and service through one of the most difficult eras for Russian Orthodoxy.
