Nikolay Shamin

Biography

Nikolay Shamin (1886–1966) was a respected Russian actor whose career spanned the late Imperial and Soviet theatrical periods. His performances contributed to the rich tradition of Russian stage acting throughout much of the twentieth century.

Shamin's contributions to Russian theater are remembered at Vagankovo Cemetery, where he was laid to rest among other notable figures of Russian arts and culture.
