Nils Gunnar Sundgren

Biography

Nils Gunnar Sundgren (1901–1970) was a Swedish photographer who documented the visual landscape of his era. His work as a photographer contributed to the cultural and historical record of early twentieth-century Sweden, capturing moments and subjects through his artistic lens.

Sundgren's career spanned much of the twentieth century, during which photography evolved from a specialized craft to a more accessible medium. His legacy as a photographer remains part of Uppsala's cultural heritage, and he was laid to rest at Uppsala Old Cemetery.
