Biography

Nils Nilsson Bonde af Björnö (1731–1816) was a Swedish estate owner who managed significant landholdings during the 18th century. As a member of the landed gentry, he played an important role in the agricultural and economic life of his region, overseeing the operations of his estates during a period of gradual modernization in Swedish agriculture.

His long life spanned most of the 18th century, allowing him to witness considerable changes in Swedish society and governance. Bonde af Björnö's legacy is preserved in the records of Mörkö Church, where he was laid to rest, reflecting his standing in his community.
