Ninomiya Keisaku

Biography

Ninomiya Keisaku was a respected physician who practiced medicine during the late Edo period. His medical knowledge and practice contributed to healthcare in his community during a time before modern Western medicine became widespread in Japan.

Keisaku died in 1862 and was honored with interment at Kōtai-ji Temple, reflecting his standing as a learned professional and valued member of society.
