Biography
Nuruşems Kadın was a member of the Ottoman imperial family during the early 19th century. As a kadın (woman of the palace), she occupied an important position within the imperial household during a significant period of Ottoman history.
Her life reflected the experiences of women within the Ottoman elite. She was honored with burial in the III. Tomb of Mustafa, a site reserved for members of the imperial family.
