Oliver Hudson Kelley spent his long life championing the cause of farmers across the nation, bringing together rural neighbors through the Patrons of Husbandry to ensure their voices were heard. He carried that same tireless advocacy to Rock Creek Cemetery, leaving behind a legacy of agricultural unity and an enduring belief in the capacity of ordinary citizens to win better lives for themselves and their children.
