Biography

Oliver Imlay, born in 1893, answered the call of duty during the First World War, entering military service with the resolve of a young man determined to defend his country.

He served with courage during the conflict and paid the ultimate price in 1917; his fellow soldiers and the wider community remember him for his bravery, and he is laid to rest at Brookwood Cemetery.
