Olwen Elizabeth Lloyd George
1892–1990 (age 98)
Biography
Olwen Elizabeth Lloyd George was born into public life in 1892 as the eldest daughter of Prime Minister David Lloyd George, and from her earliest years she directed that exposure to a lifetime of service with a quiet determination to ease suffering around her.
She championed health centres and social programmes across Wales and beyond, working tirelessly on behalf of women and children and always insisting that practical relief be combined with dignity for those she assisted.
