Biography
Ondřej Kusý (1761–1806) was a Czech composer whose works contributed to the musical landscape of late 18th-century Prague. Active during a vibrant period of musical development, Kusý composed works that reflected the Classical style while contributing to the rich musical heritage of the Bohemian lands.
Though his life was relatively brief, Kusý's contributions to Czech music earned him a place in the musical circles of Prague. His interment at Malostranský hřbitov testifies to his recognition within the community and his role in the flourishing musical culture of his time.
