Biography

Orin Nelson Woodbury was born in 1828 and became known in Saint George for his tireless work ethic and warm hospitality. He embraced the challenges of frontier life and sought always to set an example of resilience for younger neighbors.

When he died in 1890, the community honored him for the kindness he shared and the practical wisdom he offered; visitors to Saint George City Cemetery still recall the strength he lent to every task.
