Oscar Lewisohn reached adulthood at a time when Salem was maturing into a hub of regional activity, and he took pride in being part of that progress.

Those who knew him recall a person of integrity whose commitment to his neighbors helped strengthen the bonds of community that are still celebrated today at Salem Fields Cemetery.
