Oskar Blum

Biography

Oskar Blum was born in 1894 and came of age during a transformative period in European history. As a member of Brno's Jewish community, he lived through the early 20th century, a time of both promise and uncertainty for Jewish life in Central Europe.

Blum's life was cut short in 1926, but his memory endures in the Jewish cemetery of Brno. He represents the younger generation of the community whose lives were shaped by the historical currents of their time.
