Biography

Osmond Kelly Ingram was among the first of the American service members to fall in the First World War, and he bore the flag with quiet heroism. His sacrifice exemplified the bravery of those who crossed the oceans to defend freedom and relieve the suffering of others.

He rests at Brookwood American Cemetery and Memorial, where future generations may pause to honor the courage of a sailor who gave his all far from home.
