Osxar Brecher

Biography

Osxar Brecher was a member of the Jewish community of Brno during the early twentieth century. He lived from 1886 to 1927, a period of significant change in Central European Jewish life.

Brecher's life spanned the final decades of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the early years of Czechoslovak independence. He is remembered as part of the vibrant Jewish community that flourished in Brno before the upheavals of the mid-twentieth century.
