Biography
Otakar Červinka was a distinguished writer whose literary career spanned much of the nineteenth century. Born in 1846, he witnessed and documented the cultural development of Prague and the Czech lands during a crucial period of national awakening.
Červinka's contributions to Czech literature helped preserve and promote the nation's cultural heritage. He lived a full life of sixty-nine years and was interred at Olšany Cemetery in 1915, where his legacy continues to be remembered among Prague's literary figures.
