Biography
Otto Anderson earned acclaim on the track, representing his community with disciplined training and an unflinching spirit, and he believed every race could teach patience and teamwork. He also saw athletics as a vehicle for building confidence in young people, stressing sportsmanship over victory.
After retiring as a competitor he coached local clubs and encouraged youth to pursue their gifts with dignity, and he is remembered at Live Oak Memorial Park.
