Otto Dresel

Biography

Otto Dresel (1824–1881) was a German-born pianist and composer who emigrated to the United States and shared his art in Boston, New York, and later Buffalo, introducing audiences to refined chamber music.

His teaching and performances enriched the region’s cultural life, and he is buried in Green Lawn Cemetery.
