Otto Friedrich von Pistohlkors was a Baltic German nobleman of the late Enlightenment whose management of the Põltsamaa estates balanced service to the tsar with responsibility toward his tenants.
He supported schools, parish repairs, and local charities, ensuring that his household remained attentive to the welfare of peasants, and his memory rests in the Põltsamaa German cemetery, where his stewardship is still recalled.
