Biography

Otto Gehlig was a distinguished architect who contributed to the architectural development of Łódź during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His professional work reflected the evolving urban landscape of this important industrial center in Poland.

Gehlig's legacy is preserved in the Evangelical-Augsburg section of Łódź Old Cemetery, where he was laid to rest following his death in 1917. His career spanned a period of significant transformation in Polish architecture and urban planning.
