Biography

Otto Robert Frisch, born in 1904, was a physicist whose collaboration with Lise Meitner led to the first explanation of nuclear fission, a discovery that forever changed science.

He later held positions at Cambridge and continued to explore the structure of the atom, sharing his insights with generations of students before being cremated at Cambridge City Crematorium.
