Biography
Otto Smik, born in 1922, was an airman whose courage carried him across perilous skies during World War II. His missions exemplified the determination of those who fought for freedom, and despite great dangers he pressed forward with conviction.
Losing his life in 1944, he was laid to rest at Slávičie údolie cemetery, where his service is honored alongside fellow airmen in the memory of a grateful nation.
