Panagis Charokopos was a prominent Greek landowner whose substantial estate holdings reflected his significant position in nineteenth-century Greek society. His wealth and property made him an influential figure in his community.

Charokopos lived through a period of considerable change in Greece and maintained his prominence until his death in 1911. He was laid to rest in the First Cemetery of Athens, a final resting place befitting his social standing.
