Biography

Panteley Minchovich spent his life among the people of Sofia, quietly reinforcing the bonds of trust that allowed the community to flourish in the late nineteenth century. He believed that everyday kindness and civic responsibility were the foundations upon which a free Bulgaria could be built.

His grave at the Central Sofia Cemetery is visited by those who appreciate a life lived without fanfare but with unwavering devotion to the well-being of others.
