Pasquale Amato, the Italian-born baritone whose commanding voice thrilled audiences around the world, dedicated his artistic life to opera's grandest stages. After studying in Naples, he arrived in America where his rich, expressive timbre soon became a cornerstone of the Metropolitan Opera's roster, earning praise for roles in Cavalleria Rusticana, Pagliacci, and other dramatic favorites.
