Biography
Paul Hindemith stood among the most inventive composers of the twentieth century, balancing a rich creative life with a passion for teaching and music education. From his bold harmonic language to his advocacy for craftsmanship, he shaped both concert halls and conservatories across Europe and America.
His final years were spent refining his teachings and composing works that remain pillars of the repertoire, now remembered fondly at cimetière La Chiésaz.
