Biography
Paulina Winiarska lived a long life spanning much of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, witnessing profound changes in Polish society and European history. Her life represented the experiences of Polish women during a period of significant social and political transformation.
Winiarska's memory is honored through her burial in the Cemetery of St. James in Toruń, a place of remembrance for those who lived through Poland's most consequential historical periods. Her longevity and presence in Polish history are commemorated by her final resting place.
