Biography
Per Revold Blindheim was born in 1917 and grew into a thoughtful military professional whose devotion to Norway’s defence shone through the difficult years leading up to 1943. He carried himself with quiet strength, and his comrades remember him as a steadfast presence in the ranks who took seriously the trust placed in him.
He is laid to rest at Ålesund Church, where the congregation continues to honor the memory of a man who died while serving his country in its hour of need, reminding future generations of the price paid for freedom.
