Biography
Percy Charles Pickard joined the Royal Air Force and quickly gained recognition for his courage, rising through the ranks as a pilot who trained young crews and mastered both bombing and precision work.
He led daring missions such as the Amiens prison raid and other operations in 1944, paying with his life while flying to support the Allied effort; his colleagues remember him in the Commonwealth Plot of St. Pierre Cemetery.
