Biography
Percy Dearmer married liturgical scholarship with a passion for social justice, producing The Parson's Handbook and the English Hymnal to strengthen the beauty of worship for clergy and laity alike.
He combined his Anglo-Catholic convictions with active support for workers’ organizations and mission work, so that faith might serve the whole community, a ministry commemorated at Westminster Abbey.
