Biography

Pete Browning, born 1861, was one of baseball's early stars, dazzling crowds with his bat speed and batting prowess for the Louisville Colonels and other clubs.

Despite ongoing health challenges, he remained a beloved figure whose passion for the game inspired many, and Cave Hill Cemetery became his final home.
