Biography
Péter Bácsalmási soared into the national consciousness as a pole vaulter who inspired admiration for his athleticism and determination. He carried the hopes of his fellow athletes with him to competitions, always competing with grace and resilience.
Off the field he shared his love for sport with young people, encouraging them to aim high; his memory stands proudly among those honored in Óbuda Cemetery.
