Peter D. Wigginton

Biography

Peter D. Wigginton (1839–1890) brought his keen intellect and sincere concern for justice to the civic life of California, working to make public institutions more responsive to the people they served.

He was admired for mentoring younger citizens and for the generosity with which he shared his time, and he now rests at Mountain View Cemetery among those he strove to uplift.
