Peter G. Van Alst

Biography

Peter G. Van Alst (1828–1900) was a thoughtful participant in the civic life of his community, a gentle presence whose words carried weight because they were rooted in sincerity. His loyalty to family and friends remained a guiding light throughout his life.

He now rests in Mount Olivet Cemetery, where his legacy of principled steadiness continues to be honored.
