Biography

Peter Wulff (1774–1842) was a devoted translator whose careful work helped bring important European literature to Danish readers in the early 19th century. His devotion to language and culture earned him recognition among the literary circles of Copenhagen.

Wulff rests at Holmen Cemetery, remembered for the clarity and patience he brought to every text he rendered into Danish.
