Biography
Petr Mach (1897–1959) was a Czech resident of Holešovice who lived through a transformative period in Central European history. His life spanned from the Austro-Hungarian Empire through the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic and into the Communist era.
Mach's memory is preserved at Holešovice cemetery, where he was laid to rest following his death in 1959. He remains part of the historical record of Prague's industrial district during the twentieth century.
