Petra Schelm

Biography

Petra Schelm (1950–1971) was a German political activist whose brief but committed life was dedicated to social and political causes. Her activism during the late 1960s and early 1970s reflected the ideological fervor and social movements that characterized that transformative period in German history. Despite her youth, she engaged deeply with political questions and worked to advance her vision of social change.

Schelm's political engagement and activism, though cut short by her death at age twenty-one, represented a significant commitment to her ideals and causes.
