Pétrus Perlet

Biography

Pétrus Perlet (1804–1843) was a French painter who worked during the early 19th century. His artistic career developed during a period of significant stylistic innovation and change in French painting, as Romanticism and other new movements emerged.

Perlet's contributions to French art reflected the creative ferment of the early Restoration period, when painters explored new subjects and techniques. He was buried in Montparnasse Cemetery, where many of his contemporaries in the arts found their final resting place.
