Phil Ryan was an Australian rules football player who competed during the mid-twentieth century. Born in 1925, he was part of the postwar generation that helped sustain and develop Australian football during a period of significant growth for the sport.

Ryan's career in Australian rules football made him a respected figure in the sport. He passed away in 1982 and was laid to rest at Templestowe Cemetery, where he is remembered for his contributions to this beloved Australian game.
