Pierre Godfrin

Biography

Pierre Godfrin was a young soldier whose service during the turbulent interwar decade reflected the courage and discipline of his generation. He devoted himself to training and preparedness, mindful of the responsibilities that come with bearing the uniform of the French Army.

His brief life nevertheless exemplified devotion to duty, and he rests now at Père Lachaise among those who served their homeland.
