Biography
Pierre Idrac devoted his life to the study of physics, applying rigorous curiosity to the fundamental principles that govern nature. Whether in the laboratory or the classroom, he shared in the search for clarity and inspired younger investigators to pursue thoughtful experimentation.
His measured approach to science and his commitment to education were remembered by colleagues and students, and he lies now in the Père Lachaise Cemetery among other servants of knowledge.
