Biography
Pierre Roche applied his skill as an engraver to capture the expressiveness of French sculpture and printmaking, contributing plates and illustrations that reflected sensitivity to form and shadow.
His dedication to his craft and to mentoring younger artists helped sustain the engraving tradition in his region, and he rests now in Pordic as an artist remembered for his meticulous touch.
